Founding installers · South East Queensland
There is now a marketplace built for one thing only: home and business energy upgrades. You quote for free, and pay only when the customer picks you.
Invitations are open to switched on tradies positioning for the electrification tipping point. We are choosing the founding trades for South East Queensland now.
Your Power. Your Way.
How Save Tonnes connects switched on tradies to engaged customers.
Every home in the country gets this work eventually. Not replaced, upgraded, one system at a time, by people who already know how to do it.
The hard part was never the technology. It is the sequence. Which upgrade first, what it costs, whether the switchboard copes, what happens in an older house, a rental, an apartment. A homeowner asks four businesses and gets four different answers, so they do nothing for another year.
What is missing is a way to do this a suburb at a time instead of a lead at a time. Concentrate the work inside one postcode and everything changes. Neighbours see it happening. Quoting gets faster because the housing stock repeats. Travel time collapses. And the trade who did the hot water is already standing there when the battery conversation starts.
That is the model. The installers who do the work are the ones who prove it works.
One enquiry sold four or five times, priced by the click, won by whoever rings fastest and discounts hardest. You pay whether you win or lose, and it teaches the customer that installers are interchangeable. That is a race to the bottom, and the bottom is where it ends.
A retainer, a funnel somebody else owns, and a stack of tech you cannot use when it stops working. The pipeline was never yours to keep.
Save Tonnes is the community-led marketplace that brings it together.
We are building the name a homeowner reaches for before they know who to call. That name is only worth what the installers behind it make it worth, which is why this is a partnership and not a directory listing.
Reputation is the only tide that lifts every boat.
We are building it to sit alongside the community programs and not for profit initiatives already moving households toward electrification, because that is where concentrated, ready demand lives. It is also why the advice has to be genuinely independent. A program that recommends installers has to be able to justify how it chose them.
Our first move is community led. Postcode by postcode education workshops, starting on the Gold Coast.
A customer rarely needs all of it at once. Sometimes it is the whole home. Sometimes it is the air conditioning before summer and nothing else for two years.
You do not have to do everything. If you fit air conditioning and nothing else, you belong here. Save Tonnes is the glue. We hold the customer's journey and match each step to the trade that does that step properly, whether that is the next upgrade or the most pressing one right now.
That is what makes the network work. The hot water job introduces the trade who will do the solar. The battery install warms the customer for the charger. Each of you carries the next one in.
Solar. Solar and battery storage. EV charging. Hot water heat pumps. Air conditioning. And everything that follows.
We are choosing the founding group carefully, and the standard only moves one way from here. The installers who come in early will have shaped what this brand means before anyone else gets to trade on it.
Expression of interest
No cost, no obligation, and nothing is locked in. Our friendly team will call you to discuss the next steps before anything else happens.
You are on the list
One of our friendly team will text you first to confirm your availability to chat. The initial call will be a quick alignment discovery call and will only take a few minutes.
If we both agree there could be a good fit, we will schedule a time with our founder to call and discuss the next steps in our potential journey together.
Nothing is locked in and there is nothing to pay.
If anything changes in the meantime, or you would rather we took your details off the list, email hello@savetonnes.com.au.
Thanks again, chat soon.

This is a pre-launch page. It exists so installers can register interest in joining our founding cohort. Registering your interest is not a contract, not an application, and not an offer. It creates no obligation on you and none on us.
We are not promising you work, a volume of enquiries, a price, or a place in the cohort. Nothing on this page is a quote or an offer of a commercial arrangement. If and when we offer you terms, those terms will be a separate document that you can read and decide on.
We have written it to be accurate at the date above. The platform is still being built, so how it works may change before it opens. We will tell you if anything material changes before you commit to anything.
How we handle what you give us is set out on our privacy page.
